JAG Industries is a versatile custom welding/Fabrication and Installation shop that provides a wide arrange of services to our many clients. JAG is a COR, fully certified CWB shop that prides itself on high quality work and safety.

We are looking for skilled and experienced,

CWB certified red seal welders

that are proficient in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum welding of handrails, guardrails, misc. metals, light structural and architectural components of various thicknesses and shapes ranging from 18ga to 1/2" thickness.

Job Type: Full time-permanent, Minimum 40hrs a week, 7-3:30 (OT and modified work hours may be required based on client and company needs)

Location: On-site, In shop, out of town work (LOA and accommodations provided for out of town)

Job Title: Red Seal CWB ticketed welder (

Must

posses valid S class CWB all position ticket in one or more of the following: GTAW Stainless, FCAW/MCAW Carbon steel, SMAW Carbon steel, GMAW carbon. Stainless and Carbon an asset, Aluminum experience a plus.

Requirements: Must have own transportation, be punctual, own tools and welding lid required (specialty tools and power tools provided), Hard hat/hi-vis vest and steel toe boots w/ min 6" heal, Valid Alberta Drivers License a must

Experience: Min 5 years+ welding stainless steel and carbon a must, Field/install experience an asset, 5 years+ layout and fitting

Tickets: Valid Red Seal certificate and CWB tickets a must

.Fall protection, scissor lift or MEWP, WHIMIS, CSTS, First Aid an asset

. Training may provided upon completion of 3 month probationary period

Day to Day tasks include but may not be limited to:

. Ability to read a tape measure (Metric/Imperial) and convert between the two

. Fitting parts and assemblies into functional products, accurate to drawings

.Welding components in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions

Secure parts and assemblies according to specifications using various tools

Welding of components and assemblies using electric or arc welding equipment

Cut work pieces using powered and non-powered equipment/tools

Remove rough spots from work pieces using portable grinder, hand files

Heat, form and dress metal parts using hand held tools and oxy fuel torch's

Analyzes drawings and specifications to plan welding operations

Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts/assemblies

. Work collaboratively alongside others or alone

. Maintain a clean and safe work area follow company policies

. Install using various methods of welding, anchoring, hammer drilling, adhesives

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
