Job Description

Industrial Metalwork Inc. is a mining and facility company based out of Tumbler Ridge BC. We specialize in providing shop and field fabrication for facility and modular construction, maintenance and operations work on mining equipment, and fabrication for companies across Canada.

We are currently looking to fill 4 field positions. This is a 14 day on 14 day off schedule, working 12 hr shifts. Accommodations are provided. This project is expected to last for 3 months with possible continuation after that.

Responsibilities and Duties

Field Fit and Weld steal pipe in a plant environment Ensure work instructions are carried out as per Supervisor directives. Ensure tolerances and specifications are met per company standards. Meet assigned production goals and objectives. Comply with Industrial Metalwork safety and quality standards. Project Shift is 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hour days Strong Fabrication skills (must have) Dedicated to quality excellence with a superior work ethic Must be able to work with little supervision Prompt daily attendance at assigned schedule. Physical fit, good vision, and hearing, Able to lift 50lbs Experience in industrial / mine welding ( preferred) Pipe welding experience (Required) Maintain clean and orderly tools, work area and equipment.

Valid Driver's License, Class 5 (Personal Vehicle) Minimum Fall Protection Training Certification (asset) Confined Space Training Certification (asset) Working from Heights / Aerial Platform Training Certification (asset) Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol Screening Required SMAW All position - welder position (asset) FCAW All position - welder position (asset) Journeyperson welding certification B-Pressure Welding Certification (preferred)
