Civeo Installations Employees LP is looking to fill a Journeyperson Plumber/Gasfitter position at our site in Kitimat, BC. The successful candidate is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems. Reporting to the designated supervisor, the successful candidate will be provided with flight transportation and work a 14 days on and 14 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.



Key Responsibilities



Conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies Install repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems in remote camp rooms and kitchen setting Read and interpret blueprint drawings and specifications Contribute input for planned and scheduled work, and assist with completion according to schedule Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded Confirm all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes, as well as environmental protection requirements in the province of BC Supervisory roles and responsibilities may also be delegated as and when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications



Journeyperson Plumber Certificate and Red Seal with a minimum of 3 years' experience is required Class B Gas Fitter License is required, along with experience in commercial kitchen equipment Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to read drawings and blueprints Valid safety tickets including Fall protection, Aerial Work Platform, Confined Space entry, and H2S Alive Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
