- Camp accommodationsThe successful candidate will be self-motivated Parts Journeyperson, a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.We look forward to you joining our team!:Support all parts functions including parts sales, counter and shop parts sales; processing creditsSourcing and ordering used partsInventory controlProcess customer orders, develop and maintain customer relationshipsCore inspection, sorting and binning incoming stock, packing and labeling parts orders for shipmentParticipate in parts related special projects and assignmentsParticipate in call quality and performance initiatives as requiredOther functions may include but are not limited to:Warehouse duties as requiredHydraulic hose buildingNEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT partsProcurement of non-CAT partsManaging backordered partsQualifications:Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledgeA high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationshipsClearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environmentAbility to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customersCapable of working with minimal supervisionComputer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experienceExperience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assetsIndustry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining, heavy construction and technology products.Notes:This position is will require the individual to be mobile and flexible to cover 6 mines in the BC and YK area on a 14x14 continuous shiftCustomer Camp Accommodations are providedA condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respiratorAny future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective AgreementCandidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreementUnion Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
