Job Description

We are currently searching for a Journeyperson Millwright to join our team for a lasting and secure role at our maintenance site based in Sherwoodpark, Alberta. As a Millwright, your primary responsibility will encompass meticulous inspection, precise adjustments, and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure exact tolerances and peak performance. If you possess self-motivation, excel under pressure, and hold certifications in CSTS, H2S Alive, and WHMIS, your expertise and dedication will be significant in our organization.

What would you be doing?

• Interpret diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to formulate effective work procedures.
• Scrutinize machinery and equipment for irregularities, performing diagnostics as needed.
• Align and meticulously test equipment, executing necessary adjustments to achieve optimal functionality.
• Undertake preventive maintenance tasks following the commencement of machine and equipment operations.
• Employ your expertise to fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and interconnect couplings, ensuring precise tolerances.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation as required.

Does this sound like you?

• Possession of a valid Journeyperson Millwright certificate.
• Accumulated experience of 2 years or more in maintenance roles.
• Proficiency in comprehending and executing complex instructions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc
