Job Description

We are looking for candidates with experience in a JourneypersonElectrician or Apprentice Electrician role to start October 11, 2022.

This is a temporary position with contract extensions available for the right candidates. Candidates local to Redwater or close surrounding areas preferred. This is a home every night position.

What you will be doing:

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and P&ID's and the electrical code specifications to decide wiring layouts.
• Test solid-state circuitry to find defective parts in digital and analog equipment and replace, rebuilding and wire instrumentation as required
• Install, calibrate, trouble-shoot and maintain process instrumentation, communication networks and control equipment including flow computers, tank gauging systems, custody transfer metering and associated equipment.
• Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
• Position, support and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker, fiber optic cables, panels, and fuse enclosures.
• Install, replace, support and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
• Termination of instrumentation and lighting.
• Removal and installation of EHT.
• Working with operations to ensure LOTO is completed as required.
• Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Journeyperson Electrician Certificate, Red Seal Certification or Apprentice Electrician Certificate.
• Experience with industrial construction.
• Valid and up to date safety tickets: CSTS, Fall Protection, and AWP.
• Clean driver's abstract.
• Manual agility.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to do careful and rigorous work.
• Basic hand tools are needed (pliers, screwdrivers, tool pouch etc.).
