Electricians – Journeyperson/Apprentice

Silhouette Enclosures, acquired by Creo-Tech Industrial Group in 2021, is a North American leader in the manufactured enclosures space. We design, engineer, and fabricate enclosed power generation packages, laboratories that do research, data centers, mechanical and electrical control rooms, electrical buildings, large scale generator and power generation, HVAC and mechanical control systems, operator booths, portable scientific laboratories, and mechanical enclosures and buildings, etc.

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable Electrician with strong problem-solving abilities.

If you have good communication skills, are able to think on your feet and can work independently we would be very interested in hearing from you.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Reliability and Punctuality are essential
• Must have reliable transport and hold a BC drivers license;
• Ability to Read, Write and speak English;
• Installation of AC Systems, DC Systems and Fire Alarm Systems;
• Plan, layout and install Conduit, Cable Tray, and Cabling (Teck Cable and DLO);
• Installation of Switchgear, MCC’s, PLC’s and VFD’s;
• Testing and troubleshooting of all systems.

Experience:

• Journeyperson Electricians, as well as experienced apprentices, are highly desired.
• Valid Ticket
• Experience with Hand Bender, Motor Control Equipment, and Industrial Electrical Systems.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code
• Team Player willing to do what it takes to get the job done. We are a fast-paced shop with lots of opportunities for overtime.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Occupational First Aid Level 1, an asset
• Trades-related work experience: 1-year minimum.

Workers will be required to provide their own small toolbox with basic tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation:

• $30.00-$32.00 per hour (based on experience) Journeyman
• $22.00 to $28.00 /hour (based on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year apprenticeship)
• $37.00 to $38.00 /hour Foreman.

Additional pay: Eligible for Overtime pay

Hours:
Day Shift:

• 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday to Thursday
• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Friday with every other Friday off.
• Breaks:
  • 10:00AM – 10:30AM (Paid)
  • 1:00PM – 1:30PM (Unpaid)

Afternoon Shift:

• 3:30pm AM – 1:30 AM Monday to Friday with one half hour paid break.
