This position reports to the Mine Electrical Supervisor in the Mine Maintenance Department and it is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

• Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place
• Inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair and install equipment and other duties as needed
• Play a critical role in your safety and the safety of others
• Potential to work with 12V - 25KV electrical systems

What you will bring:

• A valid Saskatchewan Provincial or Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
• Grade 12 Diploma or GED
• Stable work record
• Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset
• Positive safety behavior and be a safety leader
• Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as self-guided
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions
