Position and Responsibilities

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment in all areas of the mill complex
  • High voltage switching, overhead power lines, transformation and distribution, AC and DC variable speed electric motor drive controllers
  • Complete electrical work on a number of projects at McArthur River
Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:
  • Valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson electrician ticket
  • Five or more years of industrial experience
  • Familiar with high voltage switch gear systems and solid state equipment including programmable logic controllers, AC and DC variable speed electric motor drive controllers
  • Work underground
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan\'s North.

Cameco\'s northern Saskatchewan operations operate on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
