Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Carpenters with Formwork experience for work at our MNP Sports Center in Calgary, AB.
Schedule: Monday - Friday

What You Will Be Working On
Assemble and install
Doka formwork systems
including Framax Xlife, Dokaflex, and Top 50 for walls, columns, slabs, and cores
Installation, modification, and maintenance of temporary hoardings, ensuring they meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems
Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware

WHMIS 2015
ESC Fall Protection
Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Carpentry
Experience with
Doka forms
on commercial construction sites, including temporary enclosures, security barriers, and partitions
Minimum 3 years of experience working with
Doka formwork systems
on commercial or infrastructure projects
Ability to read and interpret Doka layout drawings and assembly instructions
Familiarity with fall protection and engineered lift plans related to Doka setups
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
Must have
at least
2 years of commercial experience
Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
