Journeyperson Carpenter's with

formwork

experience

for work at our SAIT project in Calgary, AB

Schedule: Monday - Friday Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware

What We Are Looking For

Applicants with formwork experience will only be considered

At least 2 years of commercial experience Valid Journeyperson Certificate CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 Fall Protection Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work Experience on major industrial project sites The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
