Overview

We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team on a part time basis as the division grows. $47.00 pr hr.

This is a leadership position that is intended to grow into a full time position. work weeks can be filled with helping other divisions within FCC including scaffold and concrete.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in gas plants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of building materials, and the ability to read blueprints. The Insulator will work to ensure that insulation is applied correctly and meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

Install insulation materials according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to determine insulation requirements. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, and securing insulation. Apply caulking to seal gaps and ensure a tight fit of insulation materials. Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate insulation installation with other construction activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with codes.

Requirements

Proven experience in insulation installation or related construction fields is preferred. Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings. Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
