• Responsible for insulating in a plant environment using IRATA certified rope access abilities
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, and by alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns
• Perform all duties as assigned and adheres to MISTRAS\xe2\x80\x99 Core Values
• Technicians will be required to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
• Other related duties as required

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Journeyman Insulator in Saskatchewan, or a Red Seal Certificate
• Experience with insulation procedures in a plant environment is an asset
• IRATA Rope Access certification is required
• Various Client Safety Orientations are mandatory and will be accessible online to complete
• Ability to work with computers / computerized equipment
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
• Candidates will need to submit a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, 3 year driving abstract and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test before going to site

Physical Job Demand:

• Ability to lift and carry 55 pounds
