Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse electrical tasks in construction, renovation, and industrial settings, utilizing a broad skill set to support our operational needs.

Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, including low voltage wiring and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment to perform installations and repairs efficiently. Conduct renovations and upgrades on existing electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols. Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals, implementing effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical components are integrated seamlessly into building projects. Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or system failures, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Apply maintenance person skills as needed for minor repairs or adjustments related to electrical systems.

Qualifications



Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or certification. Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical wiring and PLCs. Familiarity with low voltage systems, power tools, hand tools, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations governing electrical work. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings, including construction sites and industrial facilities. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety consciousness. Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
