Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components across various projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, including low voltage and programmable logic controllers, in a dynamic environment that values safety, precision, and craftsmanship.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment to complete tasks efficiently. Perform maintenance and upgrades on existing electrical systems during renovation or construction projects. Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper operation of automation equipment. Collaborate with construction teams and other trades to coordinate installation activities. Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical issues and implement corrective actions. Follow all safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or certification. Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation controls. Experience with construction projects, renovation work, or maintenance person tasks involving electrical systems is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
