Gray Electric & Plumbing is looking for a motivated and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. About the Role

You'll be responsible for a range of electrical work across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. From maintenance and troubleshooting to installations and system upgrades, this is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving problems and getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints Perform general electrical maintenance and inspections Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using the appropriate testing devices Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes

Qualifications & Experience

Journeyman Electrician certification (required) Minimum 4 years of electrical experience Well Rounded Experience in ALL areas of the trade Solid understanding of power tools, hand tools, and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints Strong Communication and interpersonal Skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

Nice-to-Have Skills

Industrial electrical experience Experience building or assembling electrical components Strong blueprint reading skills

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule

Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts) On-call rotation

Relocation:

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Grande Prairie, AB before starting work.
