We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both residential and industrial settings. This role requires proficiency in various electrical tasks, including renovation projects, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and industrial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, ensuring all work is completed to high standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and low voltage systems to identify problems and implement solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with other construction activities. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency. Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role within the industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications and industrial installations. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications related to electrical work. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in the trade. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects. A valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.

Pay: $49.27 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
