Journeyman/woman Electrician

Polytubes is an industry leader in polyethylene pipe manufacturing. We are seeking a professional, self-motivated individual to work in our maintenance department located in Edmonton, Alberta. If you are organized, a team player and have 3 years related experience; we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks Plastic industry experience - Controls, Drives, Temperature controls Work with production, set-up, and shipping teams to schedule maintenance tasks. Ability to troubleshoot a variety of machine problems (pumps, gear boxes etc.) Work with maintenance and production team members to ensure uptime and limit downtime. Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Ability to participate as needed in the installation of entirely new or re-located lines with regard to piping, air equipment, water and hydraulics Work in a team environment and follow all health and safety regulations.

Employment Requirements:

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English Computer experience an asset 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a valid certificate Experience in a manufacturing environment would be a key asset On call flexibility to support operations on off hours
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
