Valard Construction LP is currently seeking qualified Powerline Technician to join our Toronto Hydro Grid Response Team. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, and team players willing to work shift work plus overtime. You will be eligible to receive a shift premium for work on the Grid Response Team. Have a full understanding of the underground and overhead distribution systems. The ability to work collaboratively with a partner to effectively troubleshoot problems within the distribution system.
Requirements:
Requirements

Red Seal Distribution Lineman (Must have Red Seal Certificate or equivalent).
Minimum 5 -10 years distribution experience.
Class 4 Rubber Glove experience.
Class DZ mandatory (preference to AZ).
Working at Heights Cert up to date.
Live within daily driving distance of the GTA. Local to GTA preferred.

Living in Toronto Area.
Previous Toronto Hydro experience.
Current UWPC.
Standard First Aid (CPR/AED).
