Renovco Plumbing, a division of Renovco Inc., is looking for a motivated and experienced

Journeyman Plumber

to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various plumbing techniques and tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial plumbing installations and repairs. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform plumbing tasks effectively. Conduct pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for various projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance. Provide field service support for plumbing emergencies or repairs as needed. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems efficiently. Engage in remodeling projects that require carpentry skills alongside plumbing expertise.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of HVAC systems is preferred. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols is essential. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective installation and repair work. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the plumbing trade. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations are required. Experience in pipe threading, assembly, maintenance, and maintenance person tasks is a plus. Must be capable of performing heavy lifting as necessary during installations or repairs. A valid commercial driving license may be required for transporting materials or equipment as needed. Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
