Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial steel erection/construction, with the ability to read blueprints. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for installing/erecting steel structures, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times. This role requires a commitment to teamwork and precision in executing tasks on various construction sites.

Responsibilities

Erect steel structures according to specifications and blueprints Perform tasks at height utilizing fall protection equipment Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Operate mobile elevated work platforms Install rigging and other components on construction sites Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance codes & standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial construction site environments Ability and willingness to work at heights both directly on the steel and utilizing EWP Familiarity with cranes signals, rigging, and equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship

Pay: $43.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
