Ironworker Journeyman / Apprentice

Job Description

Looking for an experienced Journeyman Ironworker and/or Apprentice Ironworker to join our Calgary team.

Required skills:

Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms Perform job-site calculations Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
Must have:

Journeyman/Woman Ironworker Ticket or apprenticeship valid Fall Protection ticket valid Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket experience in commercial beam and joist type work considered an asset own harness, lanyard, tools and tool belt own reliable transportation (job sites are not accessible by public transit)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
