Job Coach

to work alongside employees who experience disabilities as they gain skills, and independence in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and encouragement to staff with varying abilities. Assist with training in areas such as food preparation, customer service, cleaning, and cafe operations. Adapt tasks and teaching methods to match each individual's learning style and abilities. Foster independence, teamwork, and confidence while ensuring quality standards are met. Communicate regularly with Program Coordinator and support team to monitor progress and address challenges. Promote an inclusive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

Experience supporting individuals with disabilities (preferred, but training provided). Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. Ability to model positive work habits and teach by example. Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about helping others succeed. Food service or hospitality experience.
