The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a professional and motivated JD Edwards (JDE) Distribution Analyst to join our expanding team of dedicated staff and third-party contractors who support and train JDE users throughout the world while working to achieve organizational objectives. This position will be primarily focused in the JDE Distribution modules (Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Items, and Advanced Pricing).

Responsibilities of the team include managing the day-to-day requirements of our existing businesses as well as expanding utilization of the JDE EnterpriseOne ERP to our global subsidiaries and sister companies. This person will work with the team of JDE champions and must continually look for opportunities to drive process improvements and consolidation.

This position will be based at our corporate head office in Balzac, Alberta. The successful candidate must be able to meet international travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support JDE business process improvements globally
• Design, develop, implement, and support custom build sales and distribution applications on the JDE platform.
• Champion the use of JDE
• Day-to-day support of JDE users
• Incident management - diagnosis and resolution of escalated production issues
• Ongoing training for new and existing JDE users
• Other projects and tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with JDE EnterpriseOne ERP system (Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Master Files, Advanced Pricing)
• Experience with the Canadian, US, and international semen production/sales industry and country specific agencies and integrations (banking, compliance, registration, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within a team environment but also independently as required
• Effective communication for technical and non-technical audiences
• Some international travel required

The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands or arms, lift files and operate a computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust to focus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position will require some international travel.

The salary range for this position is between $98,500 - $120,000
