The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a professional and motivated JD Edwards (JDE) Support Analyst to join our expanding team of dedicated staff and third-party contractors who support and train JDE users throughout the world while working to achieve organizational objectives. This position will primarily support end-users, in all countries, and will collaborate with the JDEdwards team to administer global best practices).

This position will be based at our corporate head office in Balzac, Alberta. The successful candidate must be able to meet international travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide a quality front-line support experience to users.

• Monitor and address help requests in a timely manner.
• Engage users to understand issues and impacts when unknown.
• Prioritize to ensure urgent or time-sensitive requests are addressed appropriately.
• Document resolutions to ensure knowledge retention and consistent application.
• Perform follow-up to ensure issue was satisfactorily resolved.
• Recognize and transform frequent help requests into training opportunities

Create and maintain JDE process documentation .

• Create and maintain all JDE user process documentation in a consistent, thorough format.
• Publish and manage access to documentation on the corporate Learning Management System platform.

Provide effective training.

• Develop training content.
• Maintain awareness of business process changes, update training to reflect changes and assign to affected users.
• Coordinate and deliver training to end users and other trainers.

Collaborate with the global JDE team to develop, execute and train best practices.

• Contribute towards identifying system enhancement opportunities.
• Assist in design and execution of global best practice solutions.
• Develop and execute GENEX-facing communication and training.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience with an ERP, preferably JDEdwards (JDE).
• Previous experience supporting end users (incident management, request management).
• Experience with the Canadian, US, and international semen production/sales industry and country specific agencies and integrations (banking, compliance, registration, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within a team environment but also independently as required
• Effective communication for technical and non-technical audiences
• Some international travel required

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust to focus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position will require some international travel.
