Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen staff effectively. This role requires creativity in menu development, adherence to food safety standards, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Duties



Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Train and mentor kitchen team members in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary for efficiency and quality.

Skills



Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation. Extensive knowledge of food service operations and restaurant management principles. Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices within the food industry. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
