Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Yard Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleanliness and maintenance, contributing to a positive environment.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, snow removal and dusting in various areas of the facility. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Ability to work a push lawnmower/snow blower/ and floor Zamboni. Follow safety protocols while performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to prevent accidents or injuries.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.84-$20.88 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
