Asphalt Maintenance Labourer
Job Description
Sask Asphalt Maintenance Ltd is Looking for experienced laborers for 2025 work season. Work consists of Asphalt work (Pothole repairs and other Handwork), Rubberized Crack Filling, Slurry Sealing and Line Painting.
Job Duties include but are not limited to inspections, basic maintenance, driving trucks with trailers, shoveling, sweeping, raking, lifting over 80lbs, operating small machinery, taping, mopping and walking 10+ Kms a day.
This is not an Equipment operator job, manual labor only.
You must be in good physical shape and be able to work in the heat.
Workdays are Monday to Friday with approx. 2 months of overnight out of town work.
Accommodations are provided when out of town along with a $50 Per diem.
Approx 45 to 60 hours per week.
Working Season is Generally from May to Early October
$2 per hour worked year end retention / performance bonus*
The following are required to be considered for the position
- Class 5 License and experience driving with Trailers
- Clean Drivers Abstract & Criminal record check
- 3 or more years' experience with General Labor Jobs
The following are assets but not required.
- Asphalt paving or Asphalt Maintenance experience
- First Aid Cert.
- Flag persons Course or TAS
- Knowledge of Safety Programs
Employees must have their own Steel Toed boots- Other PPE provided

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
