Topa is looking for motivated Janitors to join our team on a full-time basis in Esterhazy and Nutrien sites! The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the janitorial team to clean at the Potash Mine sites.
Position Title: Janitorial Step In Supervisor Location: Esterhazy/ Nutrien Mine Sites Start Date: Immediate Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Responsibilities:
- Clean Lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways of buildings
- Sweep, scrub. Wash, and polish floors and clean rugs
- Dust furniture, wash walls
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs
- Empty waste and transport to disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Must attend all safety meetings as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Problem solving Skills
- Ability to Multitask
- Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset
- Must have valid class 5 drivers license
