Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness for 3 condo buildings in Colwood and Langford. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are well-maintained. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are valued. As the locations span Colwood and Langford, the ideal candidate will have a valid license and reliable vehicle.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning of lobbies, elevators, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure cleanliness Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers and areas Conduct minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly

Experience

Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; on-site training will be provided Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols is advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
