Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance professional to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of our facilities. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to facility care.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as floor care, window washing, and trash removal Perform general facilities maintenance including light repairs, replacing fixtures, and ensuring equipment is operational Monitor supply levels and restock cleaning and maintenance materials as needed Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly Assist with setup and breakdown for events or meetings within the facility Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety standards

Qualifications

Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot basic issues Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
