Job Description

As the Program Manager you will ensure the effective and coordinated delivery of our major programs responsible for planning and governance of the successful delivery of the Program.This includes managing program schedules, establishing program frameworks, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals and objectives to program stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the effective delivery of project activities, within approved scope, schedule and budget, while ensuring client satisfaction
  • Work with internal engineering teams and external take to market organizations to provide feedback on product & feature definition, feasibility, scoping and development requirements
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on feature requirements
  • Collaborate with other Program Mangers within the organization to prioritize all requirements in a given period to ensure we deliver the maximum value to Bell across all programs
  • Engage in strategic planning with our partners to ensure the creation of a multi-year roadmap where required
  • Evolve best practices for technical program management, serving as a role model by demonstrating vision and team leadership
  • Managing project financials and budget to ensure expected project margin / profitability is met
  • Maintaining the healthy management of your project by mitigating risks and defining resolution plans for addressing issues
  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals in conjunction with sales and delivery as required
  • Developing detailed statements of work, estimates and work schedules
  • Mentoring team members and junior Project Managers
Critical Qualifications
  • 10+ years of program management experience in Cloud, Network and/or IT
  • Proven ability to deliver on a portfolio, of a large and complex nature, while leveraging lean agile methodologies.
  • Strong technical and managerial leadership, teamwork, negotiating and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with a strong attention to details
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Able to manage complex fast paced, stressful situations, involving many partners and outsourced support personnel and to quickly access the situation and bring key resources to action, trouble shoot, and resolve the crisis.
  • Demonstrated success establishing and maintain Executive-level relationships
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on large scale and complex solutions.
  • Previous experience with leading a team responsible for technology development, delivery, and operations.
  • Experience with delivering a program using Scaled Agile Frameworks
