Overview



We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician with solid experience in managing Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Intune, as well as performing server migrations (Windows Server 2012 to 2022) and cloud transitions.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both on-premises and cloud environments. You will collaborate with our senior engineers to modernize client infrastructures, improve system reliability, and enhance overall cybersecurity posture.

Role Description



This is a full-time (or part-time) role for an Information Technology Support Technician based in Montreal, QC. The technician will be responsible for providing technical support, and troubleshooting issues.

Requirements



Manage and administer Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including user provisioning, license assignment, and Exchange Online configurations. Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD), Conditional Access, and MFA policies. Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device compliance, application deployment, and security baselines. Plan and execute Windows Server migrations from 2012/2016 to 2019/2022 environments. Assist in migrating on-premise workloads to Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud setups. Maintain Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory roles. Ensure proper data backup and recovery strategies using Azure Recovery Services or equivalent. Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enforce best security practices (TLS 1.2/1.3, RDP hardening, MFA, encryption, etc.). Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated client issues (Level 2-3). Document procedures, configurations, and client environments in the internal knowledge base.

Qualifications



2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune administration. Proficiency in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 installation, configuration, and migration. Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and network fundamentals. Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to manage multiple client environments and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Assets



Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104, or MD-102). Experience with Defender for Office 365, BitLocker management, or Microsoft Purview. Familiarity with third-party backup solutions (Acronis, Veeam, etc.). Previous work experience with an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment is an advantage.

Description du poste



Il s'agit d'un poste a temps plein (ou a temps partiel) de Technicien(ne) en soutien informatique, base a Montreal, QC. Le/la technicien(ne) sera responsable de fournir du support technique et de resoudre divers problemes techniques.

Responsabilites



Gerer et administrer le Microsoft 365 Admin Center, y compris le provisionnement des utilisateurs, l'attribution de licences et la configuration d'Exchange Online. Configurer et maintenir Azure Active Directory (AAD), les acces conditionnels et les politiques MFA. Deployer, gerer et depanner Intune (Endpoint Manager) pour la conformite des appareils, le deploiement d'applications et les configurations de securite. Planifier et executer les migrations de serveurs Windows de 2012/2016 vers 2019/2022. Participer a la migration des charges de travail locales vers Microsoft Azure ou des environnements hybrides. Gerer les strategies de groupe, le DNS, le DHCP et les roles Active Directory. Mettre en place des strategies efficaces de sauvegarde et de restauration des donnees avec Azure Recovery Services ou solutions equivalentes. Collaborer avec l'equipe de cybersecurite pour appliquer les meilleures pratiques (TLS 1.2/1.3, securisation RDP, MFA, chiffrement, etc.). Offrir un support technique de niveau 2-3 pour les incidents complexes des clients. Documenter les procedures, configurations et environnements clients dans la base de connaissances interne.

Exigences



Minimum de

2 ans d'experience pratique

dans l'administration de Microsoft 365, Azure AD et Intune. Maitrise de l'installation, configuration et migration de Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022. Bonne comprehension d'Active Directory, DNS, strategies de groupe (GPO) et des notions de base en reseau. Experience avec les scripts PowerShell pour l'automatisation et la gestion. Excellentes competences analytiques et en resolution de problemes. Bonnes capacites de communication et de documentation. Capacite a gerer plusieurs environnements clients et a prioriser efficacement les taches.

Atouts souhaites



Certifications Microsoft (ex. : MS-102, AZ-104, ou MD-102). Experience avec Defender for Office 365, gestion de BitLocker ou Microsoft Purview. Connaissance de solutions de sauvegarde tierces (Acronis, Veeam, etc.). Experience anterieure dans un environnement de fournisseur de services geres (MSP).
