Systems Analyst.
Reporting to the Director of IT, the
Systems Analyst
is responsible for evaluating and improving computer
systems within an organization.
As Systems Analyst, you'll get to:
Analyze current IT systems, architectures, and processes to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for
improvement Design and implement efficient IT solutions to address business needs and enhance company operations
Collect and analyze data regarding the organization and IT users
Perform the implementation of IT solutions (hardware and software) and coordinate communication
between IT and other departments Provide technical expertise and guidance to other professional staff, resolving complex problems
Conduct research on industry trends and evaluate new technologies
Develop and maintain databases, applications, and data models
Ensure compliance with security policies and relevant regulatory bodies
Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff
Manage multi-domain Windows Server environment
Such other similar and related duties as may be reasonably required by the Employer from time to time
What we're looking for:
At least 2-3 years of experience in an IT-related position
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with methods and techniques used in designing, developing, testing and implementing
computer hardware and software systems Skilled in switching technologies (i.e.: v-Lans, routing, configuring layer 3 switching
Experience with a broad range of protocols commonly used in wired and wireless communications
networks (e.g. TCP, IP, UDP, SNMP, RADIUS, BGP, OSPF, RIP, Serial, TDM, TFTP, FTP, SSH, SSL, Spanning
Tree, etc.) Knowledge of databases, data processes, program architectures, and data security
Ability to work independently and in team environments
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in the IT space
Hands on experience with server/desktop maintenance
Experience with a variety of software systems
Cloud management experience
