Job Description

Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Support Technician is responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting and support of the technical infrastructure for all manufacturing and business-related server, storage and network devices across the company.

• Support production systems hosted on IT infrastructure including thin clients and attached printers, including responding to after hour call-outs for critical production systems;
• Ensure network accounts are created and modified in a timely fashion including email, CMMS, Financial, MES, Payroll, Woodlands and other systems;
• Manage and maintain site network, firewall, VPN and related technologies;
• Manage and maintain internal and external websites including external domain management;
• Maintain and monitor site software licenses;
• Maintain network security for all IT managed systems including patching and antivirus;
• Work with external contractors and 3rd parties to maintain and update existing systems.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or equivalent work experience;
• Infrastructure support experience with mission critical networks and services;
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops, servers, storage, mobile phones, tablets, printers, and network devices
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, SQL;
• Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows and VMware vSphere;
• Experience with maintaining IP phone systems.
