The successful candidate:
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has the ability to work independently and unsupervised
- 2 years of recent computer, server, and network troubleshooting experience
- Likes to be hands-on, with a desire for continual learning
- Is familiar with a wide range of business IT technologies
- Is flexible to work after hours, weekend, and on-call as required
- Has a degree or diploma in Computer Science or similar discipline
- Cisco experience is an asset
- VMWare experience is an asset
- Access to a vehicle is a must as some light travel around the GTA is required
- Creating and closing support tickets
- Resolving technical issues
- Performing equipment setup/troubleshooting (Windows PC\'s, Macs, Servers, mobile devices and variety of office equipment)
- Working with office staff in various technical roles
- Adding and configuring licenses for email, anti-virus, and other software
- Setup and configuration of VoIP phones, and maintaining phone system
- Some after-hours and weekend work will be required, though this is often scheduled in advance
- Remote interview process
