Reporting to the IT Network Manager, the IT Support Technician is responsible for supporting end-users of the hardware and software of Air North, Yukon?s Airline and Chieftain Energy. Duties and Responsibilities include: ? Monitor and respond to IT emails and phone lines ? Help install new electrical cable for a security system ? Assisting the helpdesk with day-to-day support ? Installing network cabling ? Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions Qualifications/Conditions of Employment: ? Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent ? Experience in network or electrical cabling ? Knowledge of desktop hardware and software ? Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, under demanding time constraints ? Must be able to obtain and retain a Transport Canada Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) ?
