Technical Action Group (TAG) is a busy and growing Managed IT Services company providing fully-managed IT solutions to 70+ technology dependent small and medium businesses across the GTA, Collingwood and Canada.

This is a hybrid work from home and in-person position and an exciting and challenging technical support role where every day is different, you'll be exposed to dozens of different computer networks, and use industry-leading support tools to help prevent and fix our clients' issues. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Be jointly responsible for the support and management of our clients' networks which range from 1 to 15 servers and end-user groups ranging from 10 to 150 users.
Maintain all facets of an Office 365 Tenant
Hands-on administration and support of Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, Enterprise Mobility Suite (Intune, Azure AD), licensing, Azure IAAS and related technologies
Troubleshoot and support of production systems including Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers, Virtualization (ESXi & Hyper-V), Active Directory, MS Exchange, MSSQL, IIS, and Network Devices (firewalls & switches).
Take ownership of assigned problems, analyzing incident records, identifying trends or significant problems for further investigation and taking the problem through its life-cycle
Provide support to production systems in a 24x7 environment (some afterhours/on call is required)
Plan and manage the required software updates/installations within Production environments.
Setup and support of Office 365 & Azure cloud solutions
Maintain your service tickets in Help Desk ticketing database
DESIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS:
You must be local to the Collingwood area - this is a hybrid role within the Collingwood area.
Computer science degree or network administration diploma AND 4 or more years of "solid" field experience, including 3+ years of progressive infrastructure and Office 365 administration experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating system architecture
Proven administration experience supporting Office 365 services at a 2nd level tier
Strong knowledge of O365 features
Microsoft certifications are a plus
Production experience troubleshooting and managing:
Windows 2008/2012/2016 Servers
Virtualization - ESXi
Active Directory Group Policies
Completing systems management via PowerShell
MS Exchange 2010 & above, MS Office 365
MS Azure platform
Network Devices (firewalls & switches)
Windows certifications
Experience using LabTech/Automate and/or ConnectWise Manage is a big plus
Clearly understood by our clients over the telephone and in writing
Available to work occasional after hours or weekends as work requires
Work from Home Setup Requirements:
To be able to work well from home you'll need to have a comfortable, quiet workspace with no interruptions.
The workspace must comfortably accommodate a laptop and three 24" monitors.
Computer, monitors, and phone will be provided
Fast and stable Internet connection (50 MBPS download or better, 25 MBPS upload or better, ie, Rogers Ignite 150U, Bell Fibe 50). You will be responsible for paying for this internet connection.
