### What We're Looking For


The IT & Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring the security and stability of our IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. They will also be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on security threats and vulnerabilities, as well as developing and implementing security measures to protect our organization against cyber attacks and data breaches. You will also provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.

Work will be completed onsite at the CloudKettle office in Halifax, NS.### What you Bring

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Experience with networking configuration and maintenance Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing IT issues in a help desk technical capacity Experience configuring and deploying MacBooks and the G-Suite ecosystem is an asset Knowledge of common security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and vulnerability scanners Experience conducting security assessments and risk analysis Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently Experience using Jira Service Desk is an asset
### What You'll Do


As the IT & Security Analyst, you will:Assist in the deployment and maintenance of hardware, software and other solutions for CloudKettle team members Research and provide advice on software updates and improvements in CloudKettle's existing tech stack to leverage and deploy new features or security measures. Provide troubleshooting and technical support to team members. Provide advice on protocols and solutions for the use of IT across the company Monitor system and network performance Perform maintenance activities like updates and upgrades Ensure IT documentation is kept up to date Follow security procedures for the use of IT resources Assist in CloudKettle adherence to SOC 2, HIPAA, and other compliance frameworks Administer Jira and Salesforce software as required Conduct Functional Testing on software customizations prior to it being delivered to clients for User Acceptance Testing Participate in team meetings to communicate status and give recommendations Provide training and awareness programs for employees on security best practices Participate in IT projects and initiatives, and collaborate with other departments as necessary Keep up-to-date with emerging security technologies and threats, and make recommendations for continuous improvement Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned
