The IT Resource Analyst is responsible to build, develop and manage the technology resource management practise to support efficient and timely execution of CPMO lead projects. You will play a critical leadership role in the ongoing monitoring and oversight of technology resource demand and capacity. You will work closely with resource leaders, project managers and vendors to secure resources needed to deliver enterprise projects. You will act as a change agent creating and embedding disciplined resourcing planning practises, supporting the IT leadership teams to adopt and adhere to them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop resource management practices to support efficient and timely execution of CPMO led projects.
  • Monitor and measure resource capacity based on project sequencing and plans.
  • Identify and implement practises and processes to improve technology resource capacity utilisation.
  • Leads resource leaders and project managers through project resourcing activities (schedule and allocate) and supports them to resolve resource contention.
  • Lead, build and maintain a roster of technology vendor partners with capabilities to support and enable Medavie's strategic delivery.
  • Implement structured evaluation criteria for when consultants are sought from vendors.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Seek rate cards from vendors and negotiate with vendors to arrive at competitive rates.
  • Develop and measure against vendor service levels and KPIs to ensure adherence to agreed service delivery.
  • Tracks and manages consultant contracts:
  • Request consultant resumes from vendors.
  • Manage consultant selection, contract, and onboard process.
  • Solicit consultant feedback and share with vendors, addressing any performance concerns.
  • Maintain tools and templates to perform efficient and effective resourcing activities, contract development, and consultant tracking.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce, or IT4
Work Experience & Key Attributes:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of customer service, planning, process implementation and management experience. All relevant experience will be considered.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to organize and coordinate a variety of activities in a fast paced and agile environment.
  • Proven experience leading process implementation and influencing through change.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, negotiation and influencing others.
  • Experience and proven ability to make recommendations and influence stakeholders.
  • Creative critical thinker with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization and adjusting messaging based on audience (technical experts, resource leaders, vendors, technology leadership and executives).
Computer Skills:
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications
  • Experience managing processes via SharePoint considered an asset
Language Skills:
  • Writing, speaking, and reading in English is required. French is considered an asset.
