How your role will add to the story:

The IT Office Support Specialist oversees digital workplace vendor\xe2\x80\x99s performance to support corporate users and independent dealers on day-to-day operation. Report to management on escalations, major incidents. Manage IT asset inventory, lifecycle replacement. Follow management guideline to service improvements to deliver best customer experience, provide excellent IT support to executive teams and act as their trusted IT advisor. Lead communication to corporate users and independent dealer on major incidents. Promote IT initiatives.

Vendor Operation Management (50%)
  • Oversees vendor\xe2\x80\x99s performance in IT digital workplace activities including monitoring incidents tickets trending, escalations, and vendor trainings. Ensure that all day-to-day operational activities are carried out within SLA and follow existing process. Follow strategies to vendor and management to improve productivity and efficiency. Report to management on major incident status.

Asset Management (20%)
  • Responsible for procurement, installation and life-cycle inventory maintenance of IT hardware and software (includes PCs, peripherals, operating systems and other software) at Mercedes-Benz Canada. Maintain office hardware including desk hardware and meeting room hardware.

VIP Support (20%)
  • Act as the primary contact to provide IT support to MB Canada executive teams and act as their trusted IT advisor for all types of IT service requests and incidents. Provide executive meeting technical support.

Security Requirement (5%)
  • Follow all ISO defined security guidelines in daily operation and ensure vendors follow security guidelines. Responsible for application quarterly account review. Provide support to ICS and all internal and external audits.

IT Communication Lead (5%)
  • Responsible for IT communication, which includes MBC IT social intranet content, related IT communications to business users and administrate MB Canada SharePoint collections. Promote new collaboration tools and IT initiatives to all MB Canada

Qualifikationen





Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits:
  • Computer Degree or Diploma in related field
  • Minimum 5 years in IT Operations with a strong background in Service Operations, vendor management, VIP support and Corporation communication
  • Must have MCSE, Network +, Network Basics and PC operation
  • Must have a strong dedication to customer service and have experience in training.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly solve operational requirements.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively and tactfully with both users and business process managers
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours in case of any operational incidents or emergencies that arise during evenings, weekends or other after-hours.
  • Ability to work under stress during peak workload periods.
  • Possess a valid Ontario driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
  • Work requires ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
