About us Neo Smart Blinds is a Montreal based company dedicated to bringing you convenience, luxury and privacy using the latest in home automation technology. Summary: We need a bilingual IT technical support specialist with technical skills in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and radio frequency technologies for the Internet of Things. You should be familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) tools like Zoho Desk and Zendesk, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues, provide technical support via phone, chat, and email, process warranty returns and orders, and contribute to new product development. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed. The position is in-office, and experience in a similar role with a technology or home automation company is beneficial. responsibilities

  • Document and manage customer support inquiries using a ticketing system, ensuring that all commitments are met on a timely basis.
  • Provide technical support via phone, chat, and email to customers, field service professionals, and internal departments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software products, working cross-functionally to escalate and resolve performance issues and defects.
  • Process warranty returns, exchanges, and replacements while maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Process orders and schedule pickups for product repairs and replacements.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and utilize appropriate support documentation to resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in quality control testing of new products and components, and provide feedback to the project team and marketing to contribute to new product development.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming goods and inventory.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in both English and French
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Zoho Desk and Zendesk
  • Technical expertise in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and radio frequency technologies for the Internet of Things
  • Troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues with products, including software and hardware issues
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with mobile devices and apps
  • Technical writing skills for creating product manuals and FAQs
  • Experience in a similar role with a technology, telecommunications, or home automation company is beneficial.
  • Availability to work in-office
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits:
