FortNine Group

is seeking an experienced and strategic

IT Manager

to lead the centralization and harmonization of IT operations across our three business units. This role is critical in building a unified IT ecosystem, developing and documenting key IT processes, and ensuring alignment with best-in-class cybersecurity practices.


The ideal candidate is both hands-on and strategic, capable of navigating multi-entity complexity while driving standardization, security, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
--------------------

IT Strategy and Governance

+ Lead the consolidation of IT systems, infrastructure, and policies across FortNine, Defender, and Motos Illimitees.
+ Develop and maintain a unified IT roadmap that supports business objectives and cross-unit integration.
+ Build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure IT strategies align with operational needs and business priorities.

Process Definition & Implementation

+ Define, document, and implement IT policies and procedures across departments, including areas such as device provisioning, data access, vendor onboarding, incident response, and asset lifecycle management.
+ Drive standardization of tools, workflows, and support processes to improve efficiency and transparency across business units.
+ Establish service-level agreements (SLAs), helpdesk standards, and escalation protocols.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

+ Implement cybersecurity best practices across all business units in alignment with industry standards (e.g., CIS, NIST).
+ Lead initiatives in risk assessment, access control, identity management, and data protection.
+ Oversee system audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and resolve security gaps.
+ Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure data handling aligns with relevant privacy and regulatory requirements.

IT Service Delivery

+ Lead the delivery of IT services to internal stakeholders, ensuring responsive, efficient, and scalable support.
+ Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for helpdesk and infrastructure services.
+ Implement a robust ticketing and escalation system to manage support workflows and track KPIs.
+ Continuously evaluate and optimize service delivery processes to improve employee satisfaction and IT performance.
+ Collaborate with business units to understand needs and proactively address technology gaps or pain points.

Qualifications
--------------

Must be based in Montreal, QC or commuting surrounding area. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM) are a plus. 5+ years of experience in IT leadership, preferably in multi-entity or retail/e-commerce environments. Proven experience leading IT consolidation and process design initiatives. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards. Excellent project management and communication skills. Bilingual (English/French) is mandatory. Travel may be required, as we operate between multiple locations in Canada, and in the United States (Waterford, Connecticut).

Responsabilites principales



Strategie TI et gouvernance



Diriger la consolidation des systemes, de l'infrastructure et des politiques TI pour FortNine, Defender et Motos Illimitees. Developper et maintenir une feuille de route TI unifiee qui soutient les objectifs d'affaires et l'integration inter-unite. Etablir des relations avec les equipes interfonctionnelles afin d'assurer l'alignement des strategies TI avec les besoins operationnels et les priorites commerciales.

Definition et mise en oeuvre des processus



Definir, documenter et mettre en oeuvre des politiques et procedures TI a travers les departements, notamment en ce qui concerne l'attribution d'equipements, l'acces aux donnees, l'integration des fournisseurs, la reponse aux incidents et la gestion du cycle de vie des actifs. Promouvoir la standardisation des outils, des flux de travail et des processus de soutien pour ameliorer l'efficacite et la transparence a l'echelle des unites d'affaires. Etablir des ententes de niveaux de service (SLA), des standards pour le support technique et des protocoles d'escalade.

Cybersecurite et gestion des risques



Mettre en oeuvre les meilleures pratiques de cybersecurite dans toutes les unites d'affaires, en conformite avec les normes de l'industrie (ex. : CIS, NIST). Diriger des initiatives en evaluation des risques, gestion des acces, gestion des identites et protection des donnees. Superviser les audits des systemes et les evaluations de vulnerabilites pour identifier et combler les lacunes en matiere de securite. Collaborer avec les equipes juridiques et de conformite pour s'assurer que la gestion des donnees respecte les lois sur la vie privee et les exigences reglementaires.

Service TI



Diriger la prestation de services TI aux parties prenantes internes, en garantissant un soutien reactif, efficace et evolutif. Etablir et surveiller les SLA pour les services d'assistance et d'infrastructure. Mettre en place un systeme robuste de billetterie et d'escalade pour gerer les flux de support et suivre les indicateurs de performance cles (KPI). Evaluer et optimiser en continu les processus de prestation de services pour ameliorer la satisfaction des employes et la performance du departement TI. Collaborer avec les unites d'affaires pour comprendre leurs besoins et resoudre de facon proactive les lacunes ou les problemes technologiques.

Qualifications



Doit etre base a Montreal (QC) ou dans les environs. Diplome universitaire (ou experience equivalente) en technologies de l'information, informatique ou domaine connexe ; certifications pertinentes (ex. : ITIL, CISSP, CISM) sont un atout. 5+ annees d'experience en gestion TI, idealement dans un environnement multi-entite ou de vente au detail/commerce electronique. Experience averee en consolidation des systemes TI et en conception de processus. Solide comprehension des principes de cybersecurite, des cadres de gestion des risques et des normes de conformite. Excellentes competences en gestion de projet et en communication. Bilinguisme (anglais/francais) obligatoire. Des deplacements peuvent etre requis, notamment entre plusieurs sites au Canada, et aux Etats-Unis (Waterford, Connecticut).
