Created in 2008, DON’T NOD is an independent studio which creates and develop AA games in various genres : adventure (Life is Strange, Tell Me Why, Twin Mirror), action (Remember Me) and RPG (Vampyr). Each new game is an original creation with unique narrative gameplay experience and game mechanics. In 2020, DON’T NOD expanded internationally by creating its first branch in Montreal.

What you'll be doing DON’T NOD Montreal is looking for an IT Infrastructure Administrator for its studio. Reporting to the Montreal studio’s Technical Director, your role will be to meet evolving structural needs and manage IT solutions independently: servers, developer machines, network systems and software. Your mission will be to :
  • Administer the Windows domain (users, group policies) and Office 365;
  • Manage all computer hardware (link with pre-installed machine supplier, support, inventory, etc.);
  • Manage all software (inventory of licenses, customer support, etc.);
  • Implement an automated deployment solution for patches and software on clients, and monitoring of the fleet (SCCM/WSUS/Intune/CompanyPortal type);
  • Administer network connectivity (Internet, Firewall, Switches, …) and secure external links (Cloud, other company studios; IPSec tunnel, VPN, etc);
  • Ensure the security of the domain (identification procedures, backups, protection against intrusions, management in the event of a security breach);
  • Administer the servers (with the production teams);
  • Contribute to the employee experience by being involved in the fluidity of the integration process for new employees within the studio (with the production teams);
  • Develop a software and hardware solution to manage the workstation sharing constraint induced by the flexible studio/house approach offered to employees.


Qualifications
The must-have skills we're looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in IT: hardware, software and network;
  • 2+ years developing web services or applications;
  • A curious attitude, the desire to learn and a great autonomy;
  • An innate sense of service, and excellent communication skills to help users with different levels of technical expertise: programmers, artists, managers, etc.;
  • A mastery of the following environments:
    • Windows operating system (Client 10/11 and Server 2019/2022);
    • Microsoft Office 365;
    • Azure Active Directory;
    • Microsoft SSCM and WSUS;
    • Network services and protocols: AD, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, http(s), IP, VPN (IPsec, SSL...), Vlan;
    • Network security equipment (Firewall, Router, Proxy).
  • A good knowledge of:
    • Linux Server;
    • Virtualization (Hypervisor, VMs);
    • Microsoft Intune/Company Portal;
    • Development of web services, for example Apache or IIS; JavaScript or Python or ASP.net; MySQL or MongoDB or PostgreSQL (or equivalent).
What would set you apart?
  • Experience in a video game studio;
  • Azure Cloud or AWS or GCP expertise, in a hybrid On-Prem/Cloud solution;
  • C#/WPF/WinForm development skills;
  • Experience with SCM tools such as Perforce or GIT.
