This position requires living within 150km of Alexis, AB (Stony Plain/Edmonton area). Daily travel to customer sites means you must be local. We cannot consider applicants from Calgary, other provinces, or outside this radius.

Role and Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites and provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. Climbing ladders both indoors and outside Punctual, reliable, professional Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals Set up and maintain user accounts and access permissions Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution to IT-related issues Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups Collaborate with team members to identify and implement IT improvements

Qualifications

Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, operating systems, and computer hardware Experience in providing IT support and desktop support Proficient in software troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Familiarity with macOS and Linux is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of help desk ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy) is a plus Reliable Able to lift 50lbs Physically fit to work indoors and outdoors Use of hand tools Criminal record check.

Must have a reliable vehicle as travel is required.
