Job Description


: The Desktop Analyst is primarily responsible for helpdesk support and administration, the acquisition and procurement of all IT assets, coordination of all mobility and deskside deployment/reclamation, and support of Microsoft Intune, Teams conferencing systems, and Office 365 support. This position reports to the Manager, IT Infrastructure.

What will you be doing?

  • Update, document, resolve customer issues and queries via ticketing system, email, phone, in person.
  • Assist customers by performing analysis of various issues relating to networking, laptops/computers, mobile devices, printers, installation of hardware and software, Active Directory, file services, Sharepoint, Email, Terminal Services.
  • Contribute for the purpose of improving processes related to system issues. Offer recommendations based on metrics on how to improve the support process in its entirety.
  • Repairing and upgrading equipment as required.
  • Maintain records of all IT hardware and software.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and Knowledge Base articles.
  • Remain up to date on software and hardware trends in anticipation of user needs.
  • Support new strategic directions with appropriate technology; document procedures for user support and assist with performance testing.

Does this sound like you?
  • Minimum of 4 years in a related position.
  • At least a 2 year IT Diploma or higher preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Intune, Teams, Helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with emerging IT/IS trends and technologies.
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
