Who You Are: Ground Effects is currently searching for an IT Business Director to support our team in Windsor, Ontario. As the liaison between a company\'s IT department and its various business units, the IT Business Director plays a crucial role in ensuring that technology is utilized effectively. By connecting different areas of the business, this professional helps to introduce and maintain IT systems that promote collaboration, communication, and innovation. Through demand prioritization and the implementation of connective IT systems, the IT Business Director helps businesses make the most of new and existing technology. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication and organizational skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: REQUIREMENTS:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or IT related field
• Project Management Education
• Certifications in IT specializations
• PMP Certification
• Minimum 5 years overall work experience
• Successful track record of managing projects of various sizes
• Minimum 10 Experience working with Business and/or driving technical teams in IT areas
• Extraordinary inter-personal skills, and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to break down and drive highly complex projects into clear and achievable milestones
• Passion for learning and managing new technologies
• Proficiency in Project Management methodologies
• Good understanding of ERP systems, business analysis, infrastructure and cloud technologies
• Adept interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

• IT Business Director facilitate communication and cooperation between departments, organize meetings and train managers on IT systems.
• An IT Business Director aligns a company\'s corporate initiatives with its business goals.
• As an IT Business Director, you provide coaching to department managers, guiding them on how to improve communication with IT.
• Work with key business customers to define project scope and identify and prioritize requirements.
• Identify project risks, escalate issues and drive key decisions in a timely and effective manner
• Build and maintain effective relationships with resources, partners, colleagues, and leaders with fierce accountability for delivering on commitments and partner needs.
• Work with PMO to facilitate demand prioritization and other PMO-related processes.
• IT Business Directors must stay updated on the latest technology trends, including cloud-based networks and device connectivity, to improve employee productivity. Suggesting new and experimental technologies can also be beneficial for the company.
