Visionpool Business Services is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst. As Business Analyst IT you will be required to mainly provide production support for existing Information Technology systems including providing business analysis service for enhancement requests, supporting the investigation of production support issues, testing changes and upgrades. In addition, you will also participate in the continuous improvement of business analysis and testing services and help improve our processes.
This role is based in Regina, Saskatchewan

Required Experience

• Minimum seven (7) years of direct experience in the role of an IT Business Analyst

performing process re-designs, and requirements analysis for large and complex information technology systems. * Demonstrated skills in workshop facilitation, requirements modeling, and BPMN.

• Extensive experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Information Technology applications.
• Knowledge of system design methodologies and information technology system architecture.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and find innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Strong oral and written skills.
• Experience with SQL will be an asset.
• Recent experience with Workers\xe2\x80\x99 Compensation Board Systems, FINEOS application, Oracle Financials, or Employers Services application will be an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with problem analysis and problem definition. Lead and/or assist with the

development of business cases. * Elicit, analyze, model, and document all types of requirements for enhancements and projects.

• Facilitate sessions to define the desired processes and procedures and create process maps of the current and proposed solutions.
• Configure systems to meet requirements.
• Prepare training material and deliver training.
• Perform system testing including designing and executing test cases.
• Organize and lead user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Investigate and/or solve system issues reported by business users.
• Participate in the improvement of business analysis and testing services at WCB.
• Propose tools and processes to support requirements.
• Participate in cross-training.
