We currently have opportunities for IT Business Analysts within our Information Technology department. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing, documenting, and providing training and support for business applications used by our agribusiness divisions. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are self-starters, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of the team.Responsibilities:Meet with internal clients to gather requirements for system enhancements and new functionalityCreate process maps, design and prototype solutions, and review with project stakeholdersCollaborate and provide support to the project team in an agile environmentPrepare test cases and rigorously test developed enhancements to verify that they work correctly and address the requirementsCo-ordinate client testingConduct training sessions and write user documentationProvide ongoing support to end users by managing bug and enhancement requestsQualifications:A degree or diploma in a business, computer science, or other related programMinimum 3 years of relevant work experienceExperience gathering requirements as part of process or system changesDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities translating business requirements into solutionsWell-developed communication, prioritization, and organizational skillsExperience in business process modellingStrong attention to detailExperience working as part of a teamWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordRelevant experience in an agribusiness, food processing, or logistics environment would be an asetExperience with any of the following would be an asset:SQL or Power BIAgile software development methodologiesAtlassian Jira or ConfluenceSoftware testing methodologies and test automationRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.Interested candidates should click the Apply icon to apply online by July 9, 2024.Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
