Reporting to IT Business Systems Manager, the IT Business Analyst role is to serve as a liaison between IT and other stakeholders to design, implement IT solutions and improvements. The Business Analyst will evaluate, document, define systems requirements and ensure deployments and processes met business requirement. As an IT Business Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities include: Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements related to BI, ERP, HR systems, and other IT initiatives.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business needs, feasibility, and impact on existing systems and processes.
  • Design and implement new technology solutions or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Perform TCO and cost-benefits analysis on proposed technical solutions
Business Process Optimization and documentation:
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization.
  • Document current processes and propose solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual efforts, insure data integrity and enhance productivity.
  • Participate actively in improvements workshops.
Change Management:
  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies within the organization.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to educate end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and process changes associated to the Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies within the organization.
  • Communicate changes, benefits, and impacts to stakeholders and assist in addressing resistance or challenges.
To join our team, you must hold:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Understanding of Datawarehousing and BI reporting solutions (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS ETL)
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing industry systems (e.g. ERP, PLM, EDM, Time and Attendance, Quality control, HR Systems, ERP Finance modules, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes, including supply chain management, production planning, and inventory control, lean manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation techniques.
  • Experience in system implementation, configuration, and integration projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, vulgarization and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills and hability to comprehend complex environments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to absorb technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • ERP implementation experience, Cloud computing environment, as assets
  • Recognised Business Analysis Certifications such as IIBA, CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
